Just thought I would stop in and say hi. Have seen the site mentioned on other's and thought I would come check it out. Here is my 06 KJ, Far from done obviously but lots of plans. The hood is painted and have a friend who owns a sign shop who did most of the vinyl stickers, the military ones are from the local Army Surplus. CD is uniden 510 I think, inlaid infantry insignia into shifter, added tow hooks upfront and gawdy plastic delete in prep for future plans. Basically still stock while the funds come in more will come of the project. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Actually not a light in the shifter just catches the sun. It is a US Army Class A uniform infantry badge surrounded by a blue ring which is also associated with the infantry, basically the same color as the cord hanging from my rear view mirror, just catches a lot of light in the pictures. I have tons of plans and wishes and desires but I am betting that most are bigger than the pocket book of the owner. I am waiting on military benefits which might actually allow for me to really start completely them. I can hope anyway. |

Just thought I would share my new hood paint. I decided to redo it to really look like winter camo instead of just white striping.Started wet sanding today too, pic was pre sanding and going to start rubbing compound and clear tomorrow. Since it is rattle can it will take me a little more time to make look as good as it can.

Just thought I would update, I picked up a lift and some new tires. Running the X Factor 3.5" with 265/75/16s, I have minor rubbing on the front swaybar but clear everything else. I am planning on new wheels soon which will fix the rub. Stock wheels are supposed to have 5.5" backspace according to something I read on wikipedia so I will be looking for something with 3-4" instead.

Pick you up some Soft 8's (4" BS). You already have the center caps.

Added a roof rack today. Should help hold the bars more steady with the jack mounted on the side as well as give me some extra carrying capacity. It is all welded up and held on with U Bolts.
