That's nothing for small world.

I was stationed on the aircraft carrier Eisenhower from `84-88. After many years of college, marriage, divorce, Air National Guard and Army National Guard in Ohio (where I grew up), I moved to the town of Paris, Texas to work for the Catholic hospital's community Fitness Center. The older woman working our front desk told me her son served aboard the ship the same time I was on it. I checked my Cruisebook (like a high school yearbook) and there was her son. That is a small world.

Another story to go with my serving on the Eisenhower. A high school friend of mine goes to Florida for Spring Break, she meets a sailor going to the Nuclear Power school there in Orlando. They end up dating long distance and get married a few years later (now divorced). Guess what ship he gets stationed on after he finishes his school? Yep, the Eisenhower while I was on it. That is a small world.
