We just bought a beautiful, lightly used CRD for my girlfriend. She absolutley LOVES it. Previously she had an '05 Liberty Sport and liked that, but gifted it to her mom. The diesel was my idea initially, but after a test drive, she was sold and wouldn't even consider a gas burner after that. (Personally, I drive a Powerstroke Ford that I need for my business.)

Anyway, even though the CRD is hers, I'll be caring for it, so I'm the new Lost KJ member. Maybe she'll even let me drive it once in a while. :-)

As my signature says, my wife was also our reason to get a CRD.. She loves it. She thinks the diesel growl is sexy!! That's my girl! :wink:

Cool how they like that diesel sound isn't it? I guess I should have known since she really enjoys driving my SuperDuty. But, I was surprised when she not only didn't mind the engine noise, but actually liked it. :)

I'm planning on doing the preventative measures on it. I feel mostly responsible for her buying the Diesel rather than another gas, so will do all I can to make sure it's as trouble free as possible. Have you done the GDE eco-tune on yours? It seems like it would address most of the smog equipment issues while remaining pretty much invisible.
