Hey guys, names Curtis, i'm new to Kj's but not to wheelin'... i've owned an 07 frontier an 07 titan a 03 ram 3500, (all 4x4) and a 03 frontier, and a 94 Nissan hardbody, (all 2x4) and all of which had gotten stuck... well... several times and had numerous mile offroad.. had the titan for 8k miles and prolly had at least 2k off the pavement, oh i also had a 97 ranger, man that was a piece of crap.. but now i'm in my first jeep and it's a 03 renegade with a lift and 31x 10.50x15 Richard cepeks and some black 15" steelys... only problem is i bought it with that lift and those tires, so i don't know the lift manufacturer, and the tires scrub a lil when turned to lock, which i hope to fix tomorrow with a sawzaw and a hammer and possibly some other odd and ends... hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a problem from someone else... but it seems to be mechanically sound and doesn't appear to have gone offroad,
I'll actually be in the beach sand this weekend, hoping to make a trip up to visit family soon and stop in at uwharrie. Noticed the thread about the steel front diff, has that been put into production yet? <prolly not the place for that... anyways... this is just one huge.. runon ramble... i'm at work right now, so i'm pretty bored.

I'm stationed in Ft. Stewart near Savannah in the middle of a quaint lil town known as hinesville, there's some really good tank trails around here that i'm going to explore, but i have to get a fishing license and an area permit to go out there so i can say i'm going fishing... lol (honestly an MP recommended that to me today...) as long as i take someone with me who can get me unstuck when i get stuck, then i should be good... b/c it isn't a matter of if, but more like a matter of when I get stuck, lol.

Welcome to LOST
Before you start cutting see where it is rubbing, may just need the pinch weld pounded over. Better to ask before you cut something off you may need later! :ROTFL:
Can you tell if it is a spring or spacer type lift?

Welcome!
If you're ever up for some good wheeling we have a few spots down here in Fl.
Ocala Nat'l Forest which has tons and tons of trails and also hardrock offroad park which is also in Ocala.
Ocala is about a hour south of Jacksonville, Fl.

If you ever want to go just let me know! I'd be more than happy to go with ya!

Old middleburg rd, I know exactly where that is. Not that far down the road from where I live.
I haven't heard anything about the 4" JBA. But if you get that you'll need some machined cvs to keep them from binding. 3-3.5 is about the max you can go before the cvs become un happy and start binding and destroy themselves.
I went with the OME/Rancho combo lift. Rides real good and eats up the bumps and such on the trail.

frankenlift is a good choice.
I was going to get that but the money just wasn't there. So I built my own and left out a few things that the franky comes with.
