hey there to all... ive been reading this forum for a couple years now and finally joined.... this site is awesome.... thats all there is to it. ive found some awesome information here. i drive a 2003 KJ renegade. pushin 160,000 miles. its got a rusty's 2.5" coil kit thats getting thrown out real soon.... new shocks and struts are on order and the springs are soon to follow. i think its been about a year since i put the rusty's kit on and its already going bye bye..... the front end has started clunking and sagging.... what a hunk of junk..... anyway....... im from illinois and use my jeep to get me to rock climbing areas and trailheads. im an avid climber, backpacker, and mountain biker so im in the woods a few times a month at the least. my daughter calls all lifted jeeps "hiking jeeps" so im trying to get my jeep up to her standards of a "hiking jeep"... so far the renegade doesnt fit her criteria. after redoing the suspension, i think ill try Mud-Terrains and some wheels with a bigger offset.... that might do it....
