Thanks for posting back! I saw an ORM, not an ERM, but I am not yet used to this new alphabet soup. I am thinking about getting an SEGR and cleaning the MAP Sensor, see where we go from there! I was considering the mod to keep the ccv out of the intake next How much smoke does your jeep blow under load? Mine is a bit sootier than expected. |

Thanks for the link. I have been doing a bit of reading around and I appreciate the help. I am planning on doing the EHM and am trying to get one of UFO's fancy eeelectronic boxes to disable the EGR. And clean my map sensor Figure that will be good for a while. I don't want to spend a ton om money on it till I know how reliable it is, but I gotta say this little Jeep rocks. Would love to get a suncoast Tc/Shift kit/cooling fan and make a ton of power, but heck I just spent money for floormats |

I know that giving a Diesel a Good hard, fast run helps clean 'em out a bit so the soot doesn't build up too much, your CRDs PO probably didn't do it often/ever. Running Bio helps too. |

Here's a good one...I was wondering about any mods previous owner might have done, vehicle history, etc. Thought gee it would be nice to talk to previous owner. I called the dealership that sold it to me and asked REAL NICE and they called prior owner to get his permission to give me his name and phone number. They said he was more than happy to "ramble about his Jeep for hours". Any way I got his number and called, left voicemail. Hope he has good news and doesn't carry on about torque converters and what not |

Well I have had the Jeep for three days and I got my first check engine light...stopped at a local shop and they pulled the code for me: PO714....transmission temperature sensor intermittent.... Any thoughts? |

Do you have any kind of warranty on it? Also, you may want to try posting in the "CRD. . . Love that Torque" section, you may get some good response. |

I bought it from a VW dealer, the only warranty is 30 days powertrain. I am workign with them, but i don't think I will get far I posted up in the section you mentioned, and did get a good response, at least I now know where the sensor is located, which is comforting because I called both of our local jeep dealerships to price the sensor and they said it didn't exist.
