| Post subject: | Hello from Oregon |
Hey guys. I have lurked around the board long enough that I thought I would finally introduce myself. My name is Gus and I am from the northwest corner of Oregon on the coast. My wife has an 02' Liberty Sport. She said I could do whatever I wanted to it as long as it drove nice. So by no means is it a super built vehicle but I think it serves its purpose. I started by tinting the windows and tearing all the carpet out of the cargo area. I laid down Rhinoliner in place of the carpet. We have a English Bulldog that has hair like needles that is extremely hard to get out. So this was my remedy. I have a set of RRO super sliders. After that I started on my lift. I have OME HD Springs up front with RRO strut spacers and stock struts (for now). The rear I just went with the RRO spacers. This was going into winter and around here we run studded snow tires. So I ran 255/70/16's. They were a little small, plus the rear sat lower than the front. So I decided to go with a pair of full length deaver springs in the rear. The vehicle now sits level or pretty darn close to i and I run 265/75/16's. I installed an Adventure Rack from Rocky road with the light bar. On the way from Sierra Expeditions I have an k&n intake, ARB Bull Bar, and 4 IPF 986 CSG's. I think after a winch I will be almost finished with the build after that (famous last words). Like I said this is the wifes vehicle and she uses it for her DD and we also tow our Kamparoo with it (have done 5500+ miles with it this month). But I would love to get together and go explore some trails in the Tillamook forest or anywhere else with some fellow LOST members. I know everyone always wants pics but I am gonna wait until I get the bumper and lights on hopefully next week and then I'll snap a couple pics. This looks like a good community of people and I'm happy to be part of it. Thanks,Gus |
