I recently been hearing this whining noise coming from my rear axle area of my jeep 2003 Jeep Liberty. It only makes the noise when i give it some gas then goes away when i let off. I recently checked to see if it had plenty of rear axle oil and its fine. Any ideas of what might be the source of the problem??

Could be a bearing going out, try changing the gear oil with non-synthetic and see if it helps. It worked for me, for how long idk.
