Hello all,

just took delivery of a 2011 Liberty 4x4:

I've got some basic plans for it, but I've been having a hard time find info on other forums.

I want to run 17s, thinking 17x8s possibly but I can't seem to find too many examples of nice 17" wheels on a KK. I dont want beadlock wheels, definitely don't want fake beadlock wheels, preferably something simple but more than likely no 5 spoke wheels.

Going to do some searching around, the end goal is to have wheels that are flush or just beyond the fender without spacers. Any suggestions? Also, list the offset/backspace if you know 'em. :D

As for the other planned mods here it goes:
31 BFG T/A KOs
Roof basket
2" lift (which one still decided)
Convert the stock housings to hold Mini H1 projectors
K&N CAI
Flowmaster 44
Tow hitch

Gonna drive the crap out of the thing, as I'm usually logging ~800 miles per week.

If you Jeep wasn't brand new, I would definately suggest upgrading every suspension part possible. Since you drive 800 mi a week (which is insane!!!)...

But your Jeep is new, so a Daystar spacer lift would work well. Unless you want the best, go OME route. Oh yeah, if you want more rear flex buy some rear shocks. The OEM rear shocks limit your rear flex. I run the Daystar lift on my 06' KJ with Skyjacker Hydro 7000 rear shocks. The lift set-up I run works really well for me and I have 10,000 mi on my lift set-up. I do plan on re-doing my lift set-up first of 2012. Unless I decide otherwise (which I probably will). Mine as well upgrade while you have the money, right?

Overall, I really like your KK and if I were to buy a KK it would be Black of course

Yeah, I drive a LOT haha. For those familiar with CA, my territory covers the entire central part of the state so I go from Ventura to Fresno, down to Bakersfield and all the way to the NV border.

I've heard good things about the OME spacers, but it seems everyone runs the Daystars.

Not too worried about the lack of travel as I won't be doing much super technical off-roading since the car is a company vehicle. Mostly just some trails and light sand dunes. My main purpose is of course work related, but it's mine to use however else I like when I'm not working. :JEEPIN:

Some people might think it's odd to mod a car I don't actually own, but I have tried to leave other cars stock before and I just can't help myself. So I figure, I might as well just embrace it!

To my knowledge OME doesnt make spacers for Liberties. Daystar does. :? Hey if you going to be driving it so much, I'd say keep it stock. You have to take in consideration that your gas mileage is going to go down, alot! Plus you'll have to buy bigger tires. Running stock tires on a lifted KJ/KK makes it look silly; and makes the weight unbalanced. Bigger tires balance it out and fill that huge gap. I know gas isn't cheap out in CA and I'm not sure if the company pays for your gas or not. If you can afford the gas for driving a lifted Jeep 800 mi a week or your company can, go for it! :JEEPIN:

Yeah, I get a gas card. :jester:

Maybe I just misread on the OME stuff. Are those completely different springs?

Yes they are. OME springs give you 1.5" lift (but in reality it's 2"). I would buy the medium rated OME springs since you won't be adding heavy stuff to the KK. I believe OME makes medium rated sprigs for a KK? Like rock rails, front and rear rock crawler bumpers and other stuff. The best place to go is JeepinByAl http://www.JeepinByAl.com He (believe it's Marlin) will have everything you need. It's all laid out nice and neat. Easy to find the parts you're looking for. In the OME kit he sells you can add JBA a-arms. I suggest buying them too. With all the driving you do your OEM upper a-arms are prone to fail under the weight and stress of having the lift kit on.

Think I covered everything. If you have anymore questions, ask tommudd on here. He can help you out more than I can.
