I have been lurking for a while, researching issues with my jeep but now need to ask a question.
I bought a Liberty CRD limited with the 2.8L engine, I have put 95k miles on it for a total mileage of slightly under 205k miles.
I was having some problems with it and just happened to run into "Geordie" last spring, he told me to change the map sensor and my problems should be better. I didn't until a few days ago. Now I have no power on take off and no overdrive. Great power in between start and OD though. What is next? I'm currently in Santa Fe, NM and the diesel mechanics around here say they don't know much about the CRD.
We have to leave here in about a week, heading to Idaho pulling a trailer....I can't imagine trying to pull the trailer with no power.
Any advice?

I've cleaned a MAP sensor a couple of times - no issue
so either the new one's wrong - or something unexpected happened on the install
1st I'd put back the old and see if it goes away.
also check for the oring that seals.
