So I needed a new daily driver and wanted something a little utilitarian but still "OK" on gas.
Was looking at XJ but those are hard to find in decent condition for decent money and I somehow stumbled on the KJ series
Wanted something that gives good ground clearance when I drive on the dirt roads of my family's land, would do OK driving the 200 miles to get there and also be comfortable enough for my wife and 1 year old daughter.
So I ended up with this:

Already thinking about a JBA 2.5 lift
I know OME is cheaper but from what I've read already is that JBA rides like a Cadillac and OME like a Chevy.
Any tips on what I should look out for/upgrade first?
Not looking to do any serious muddin or Moab crawlin
just need more ground clearance from these Houston floods/puddles and boppin through the piney woods.
