Hi there, I'm Chris from Cape Cod Massachusetts I have a important question I really can't find the answer to.
I have a 2006 Jeep liberty for the tuna half inch lift just put in and I want to keep the Rams and get a larger tire. Along getting larger tire I want to put a 2 inch spacers on the hub as well, with that in mind I went today made an appointment at a tire specialist and they put on tires that when the jeep was moving they would rub slightly. I think the number was 275 6517.
I'm looking for a more aggressive looking tire, functional in the winter without a doubt, able to take it on the beach and also comfortable enough to ride the highway.
If some of my message your sounds a little convoluted it's because I really don't know much about figuring out the right tire size.
Again I want to stick with the original rims, I'm heading at 2 inch base her to each wheel and I want a larger aesthetically and functionally better tire if you will. Any comments questions concerns I really need some help here so I know what direction I need to go to have this completed. Prescient your help thanks so much
Not sure what a " tuna half inch lift " is
nor what the " Rams" are ???
BUT I think you installed a 1/2 inch lift and want to run the original RIMS
If so 1/2 inch isn't much, more than likely returned you back to stock height when new
If so you can run " stock size " tires is it
Since the tire they tired to install is 31 inches tall, and you're trying to run 2 inch spacers of course its going to run BAD
To run that size you need at least 3 inches of lift( real lift meaning new springs and shocks)
Also that 2 inch wheel spacer is doing you in, 1.25 maybe ( when lifted but unlifted its bad as well
If you don't want to lift stick with some 29 inch tall tires and be happy
