I've been reading the posts here for a while gathering information on KJ CRD's as I searched for a replacement for my F150. I am impressed with the depth of information shared here and the solutions that have been developed. My search shifted from low-mileage and untouched to focusing on Jeeps with owners that know the vehicle and have modified and maintained them. This led me to Amarillo a couple weeks ago for a 2005 137K KJ Sport with an amazing owner, possibly a member here but I never asked.

Work that's been done in the last 40K miles:
195 degree Stant thermostat
New Garrett turbo
timing belt, water pump
ARB head bolts
Samco hoses
oil/water separator
EGR delete
GDE hot tune
Transgo shift kit
Florida TC converter
muffler delete
turbo gauge
hubs and bearings
brakes
custom wheels
trailer brake control
information module added to headliner
Bosch metal glow plugs
Cummins lift pump in tank
skid plates
...there's more, my memory fails me but the 3" thick PO's record book is full and detailed.

It runs excellent and has a clean and tight body as well with only one ding of significance and it's pretty minor. MPG in the mid-high 20's manually calculated on two tanks so far.

The only issue I know of to resolve at this point is trailer towing...I decided on Air Lift which I've used before and been very happy with them. Also the front sits a little low, I'd like to do a very slight lift to gain a little clearance. Thinking of using 1-1/2" Daystar comfort ride in the front only as I expect the back to rise up at least a half inch at minimum air bag pressure.

Thanks for all the great information and interaction here!

Welcome to the LOST community!
Sounds like you found a great machine with most all the expensive stuff done!
I do, however, believe that those with much more experience than I, will encourage you to rethink the Daystar approach to the front lift.
OME seems to be the suspension product with the greatest fan base.
You might want to check out this thread as well.

Again, Welcome, and hope you enjoy the greatest Love / Hate relationship you will probably ever have!
