Hey guys i bought myself a nice clean 2006 crd 4x4. got a good deal on it. has about 138k miles. Sent in my ECU to gde already. keith was alot of help in pointing me to idparts. i plan on doing timing belt, tensioner, lifters and rockers, alternator pulley, fan clutch, and little stuff in between. basically wanting to bulletproof the big service stuff as much as possible. its going to be my daily driver for a long time so i want to do everything i can to make sure it lasts.

They are a significant item, but since you're already doing the timing belt, You might want to consider pulling the "valve cover" / Intake manifold, and Replace the headbolts with ARP studs, as headgaskets are a known weak point over time, with the "Torque to Yield" stock headbolts. And since you're there check the lifters and replace any that show wear, (or just do a whole set) since they are another known weak part, and usually are the first point to fail if the engine has not been maintained properly by the P.O.
If bulletproofing is what you're after, you should probably add these to your budgeting list
Kind of a pay once, cry, and drive with more confidence.
Welcome to the CRaDventure!
