Hello from PA!

2006 Jeep Liberty owner.

Looking to make some modifications in the near future.

When I registered I was asked what type of Jeep I owned... what would the appropriate designation be? I selected KK, but don't think they were referring to doughnuts...

There’s lots of good info here on repairs and mods, enough to keep you busy for quite a while!

Your Liberty is the KJ designation. When the body style became boxier in 2008, that was the beginning of the KK Liberties. Since 2014 the KL Cherokee is being built, and prior to 2002 it was the XJ Cherokee. That’s probably as clear as mud, but there you go!
