Hi, I have read a lot of stuff on the site and it seems to be the place for Liberty CRD owners. I got a 2006 limited CRD about a month ago so I thought I should join. About the Jeeps: 99 WJ limited,4.7 v8 started as Qdrive2, converted it to selec trac 172k still going! 03 KJ renegade, 3.7, selec trac, 114k 06 KJ limited, 2.8CRD, 99k(new to me toy) 08 WK overland, hemi, 110k 16 mk Patriot high altitude, 13k (wifes ride) About me: Mid fifties, machinist for 38 years, shop owner, experienced in cad/cam, industrial design, CNC turning, CNC milling, wire edm on the new side of things but if you need it busted apart with a sledge hammer, welded back together, and new pieces copied from the busted junk it's still in my head from the early pre computer days too. Doesn't matter if it is steel, aluminum, titanium, brass, bronze, copper, or engineering plastics as long as it fits in the equipment. Check out the shop at campbellsmachineshop.com Currently do all service work on my Jeeps except mufflers, rusty tin knocker stuff, take it to the muffler guy. Current personal project is getting the timing belt etc. on the CRD before something nasty happens, it is in pieces right now all over the back building but going back together tomorrow.
