:D Good evening to all Administrators and members of Lostjeeps.com and thank you for allowing me to join the forum.
I'm Robert, a Senior from Sault Ste. Marie in Northern Ontario.
I own a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD 4 Doors Sport, 4x4 with a Motori 4 cylinders, 2.8, Diesel engine.
I'm not mechanically inclined, but my budget and fixed income from Old Age Pension was a good motivation. I'm learning by the day and I'm here to get closer to perfection as you can be.
Liberty CRD 2.8 Diesel is a great vehicle and I'm a very satisfied owner.
Hope to interact with all of you. :JEEPIN:

Welcome to the Jeep addiction!

I too have fixed income.
If you ever have any question of how to spend your disposable income, your CRD will provide the answers.
Sometimes multiple answers.
How long have you owned this vehicle?
Have you (or previous owners) made any modifications? Many members put vehicle and modification information in their signature at the bottom of the post. This is helpful if you are troubleshooting an issue, to know what specifically to look for.
>Very important<
How many miles does your vehicle have? Has the timing belt been replaced, and do you know when / at what mileage?
>Reason<
The timing belts have an established lifespan of 100K miles or 6-7 years.
Beyond this, risk of failure and catastrophic engine damage is high and rapidly increasing with continued use.

Have the original ceramic glow plugs been replaced with Steel?
In your cold climate the ceramic glow plugs will perform the best in the winter, but have a safety recall due to high risk of fracture, resulting in internal engine damage of cylinder head, pistons, valves, and turbo.
The steel ones eliminate this risk, but are irritatingly inferior when relied upon solely for very cold starts.

Again, welcome and happy :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN:
