Just wanted to finally register and contribute a little. On the 2nd Liberty CRD. I've learned so much here being a long time lurker. The first CRD I repaired myself years ago after rocker arm failure using the factory service manual and super expensive parts from the local Jeep dealer. Now on the second rocker arm failure (a different Liberty) and this time I'm going full bore with EGR delete, ARP head studs and a ton of other parts from idparts. I pulled the head, even though there was no sign of head gasket failure, sent to the machine shop for new exhaust valves, valve job and machining. Just want this piece to be bulletproof. That EGR system contaminates everything. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for all the help and priceless info on this forum.
