Howdy, I have an '06 Liberty CRD, original owner with almost 61k on it. It's been pretty reliable, the regulator on the passenger, driver's side went out, the part time 4wd sender is stuck on and I think they broke my transmission dipstick tube on the converter recall but mostly pretty well behaved. I'm considering weather to do the timing belt or have it done. Looking forward to hangin out here. I do have a replacement dipstick tube but that one bolt on the bell housing is well just say grrrrr.

Do an egr delete and ARP head studs during the timing set install and you'll likely have a long term runner. I've seen the rockers shot at 88k before, but that might have been from wrong oil, or lack of oil changes. I'd just plan on replacing them though, despite the low miles, but I wouldn't worry about exhaust valves at that mileage myself

Thx, I plan to read up on this site and learn without being too much of a bother. Very interested in getting it flashed, the last time I ask the dealership the guy claimed not to know anything about updating the computer, just a general update flash so I'll learn how to get it done myself.
