Greetings To The World Of Lost Jeeps!

I am intrigued with the name of this forum, I have run many mailing digests, and forums in the past so naming the group is part of the fun! I am concerned that the folks who initially set up this forum did not understand true Jeep life. It is the duty, and privilege of every good Jeep owner to take their Jeep away from the mall parking lot, off the pavement, and go out someplace, and get lost! So getting lost is not a bad thing, it's a good thing! :}

My Jeep addiction for the last 32 years is my beautiful Bride's fault. Being a farm girl she knew the value of true Jeep 4 wheel drive, so after we were married for two years she convinced me we needed a Grand Wagoneer. Since then we have had all shapes and sizes of Jeeps; Wranglers, Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, and now a Liberty.

I have always been of the belief that good Jeeps are not bought, they are built. I am not sure there is much that can be built on one of these new fangled Jeeps. They are over-computerized, air bag, anti-lock brake, microchip mobiles.

In the end this met my Beautiful Bride's desire, and so it followed us home; a 2011, Liberty KK.

My wife is a proud Nerd Girl. She names all of our rides based on their personalities. It did not take her but a days time to name the new Liberty Lando Liberty, after Lando, no I don't know how to spell "Kalrission" from Star Wars.

I would normally post some pictures of the rig at this point, but to my amazement I can not do that on this forum. :( I can not even post an avatar to the forum. As I mentioned earlier this is not my first forum rodeo, but these days most forums are expanding their photo upload capabilities, not limiting them.

....And yes I am an I. T. Director so don't tell me to post stuff to some goofy social media site, or file sharing site, and then copy the link; it's not going to happen. :)

I have been lurking for awhile, and have read many great posts by some excellent Jeepers! I am looking forward to leveraging your assistance in getting into the modern Jeep era.

Kind regards to all!

Welcome,
LOST= "Liberty Owners Special Team"
Unfortunately if you want to post any pictures (images) on this forum, you will have to post them first to a photo sharing site like postimage or one of the others. We all have to do that! :banghead:
Avatars can be posted, but must be very small and meet their small px requirements.

Nifty little acronym! :)

Being able to post an avatar would be a start. The site kept insisting I give it a link. I never found an upload option. I can scale any image, I just need to be able to upload it.

The avatar must be posted on a photo sharing site first and then post a hot link to the picture which must be =/> 125x125px.

Similar to this:>
