Hi All,

I've recently acquired a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 4wd CRD and I'm new to both 4x4 and Diesel. The 4x4 bit I can work out eventually, I suppose but the diesel is quite another thing. I guess the thing to do is wave at the other Jeep owners when I pass them on the road?

S.O.

be sure and read the NOOB guide, it is full of great information for a new CRD owner.

After you have read the NOOB Guide, ask questions, you will get answers by some very knowledgeable and helpful members on this forum.

Love that area, (Cohutta Wilderness), camped at Lake Conasauga over the years and had some great times camping and fishing. :-)r
Highest lake in the state of Georgia. A 19 acre mountain lake setting at over 3k in elevation built by the CCC back in the late 1930's, a very beautiful place.

That's it. It is gorgeous.

We stopped by there to check out the camping area, with a plan to go back in a few weeks.

Spent most of the day driving FS roads, and trout fishing in Mill Creek and Holly Creek.

Great day tooling around up there.

My daughter And i have decided we're going to drive all the FS roads we can over the next few months.

Johns Mtn/ Keown Falls were nice too.

Have fished both Mill Creek and Holly Creek. Great fishing spots and great area with many miles of FS roads to explore.

Hi all, sorry life has been busy since I bought my Liberty CRD. So, I’m in Warner Robins - middle Ga and I will have to look up your recommended places to visit. Thank you for the welcome.

Stay safe down there in Houston County, they are currently reporting 9 cases.
When all this is over, maybe we can meet up and plan a drive to North Ga. I'm in Baldwin County.
