Hello,

Just picked up a 2006 Liberty CRD for the finacé. Only has 31K miles on the clock! I've been loving it! This last week I went though and did everything on the "Noob Guide", changed to metallic glow plugs, put in a provent, cleaned the intake elbow, installed cruise control, blocked the egr, and put a GDE eco tune on it. It's a real blast to drive now! This forum has already been super helpful in the how-to side of things.

Welcome to the addiction!
Amazing that you were able to find a vehicle this old with that low of milage. Kudos!

Good start, plan on installing an intank fuel pump when possible. Plenty of info on this forum on "how to".
It is the second most needed mod for these vehicles behind the block off or total removal of the EGR system.
It keeps air out of the fuel system which can cause all kinds of issues and can be detrimental to the injection pump and injectors.

After that, consider installing a ProVent CCV filter. Also covered on this forum.
