Hi all - just joined the Jeep family after having Land Rovers all my driving life. I bought a Cherokee 3.7 auto petrol (you guys call it a Liberty in the States), 2002 reg, 1 previous owner and appears to be well looked after. Done 109000 miles and cost me 1250 GBP (that's around 1500 USD). Only needed two new tyres. So, fingers crossed it won't bankrupt me like Land Rover ownership has. I shall miss them. But, I've gotta tell you, am loving Jeep thus far. Took it for an off-road run on the way home the other day and it purred like a kitten. I just pray it's not a dog.

Welcome to the family!

There are differences between the RHD and LHD models so it's helpful to put such things in your sig, so we don't go down the wrong path trying to help.

Sounds like you found a good one!

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, of course, RHD, that's what I have and one thing I've already noted from the entertaining Youtuber Git It Garage (who recommended this site) was his gripe about the hump of the transmission being in the way of the gas pedal and your foot when relaxing during cruise. Obviously, this is not an issue for RHD! And I like the fact that the auto gear shift is nearer to hand rather than the 4WD drive being nearer (as with LHD). But I guess you guys Stateside are used to that.
