I’m trying to add some bass to my Liberty but I don’t want to really compromise my cargo area and still be able to fold the seats down. I don’t want a huge box I’m not looking to wake the neighbors or the dead. I know I can mount the amp under one of the seat with no problem and if I mount the amp on the rear seats I can still fold them. I want something small that I can remove when I’m going camping, on the trails, mudding, ect…Any suggestions, pictures of boxes and anything that might add bass.

crutchfield has a Kenwood sub/amp system that might fit under the rear seat. I am considering this...would like to know more about it though.

Hey guys, I live in Charlottesville, Virginia... home of Crutchfield (I actually went to school with Bill's daughter). If you need me to go by and check out the stuff you are looking at (if you have specific questions not answered on the product's page) I would be more than happy to. Let me know!

i would look into something like the infinity basslink which is a 10" sub and amp all in one, it would more than likely take up the least amount of space, or another option would be a bazooka tube style set-up!!

This is the BassLink

Check out http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2421676
mine. One plug the box comes out, and just enough bass.

my buddy had two of those in a kia sorento, the box was so big it pushed the back seat straight up, and the swing gate has to be slammed to close!! Also had to have a capasitor to keep from drawing to much power off the battery. Talk about bass, when u turned that up, the sides of the sorento would actually expand (being made mostly of plastic)! You could put a penny on the roof and it would bounce a good 6-10 inches of the top!! kicker subs sound so good!!!

JFORTIER777 that's really nice and I bet it sounds even better. But that compromises cargo space. If I go to "Home Depot" and buy something I'll have no cargo space at all. I’ll probably get me a square speaker and make a box for it, maybe a tube of some sort.

kicker has a series of square speakersthe L5 and L7, this will work nicely for space and sound http://www.crutchfield.com/S-nwOvtVFLLEz/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=L5&i=700KCKLVS

My setup is quick change. It can be COMPLETELY removed/installed in less than 6 minutes.

LESS THAN 6 MINUTES!

I defy you to find an equally big box and amp that beats that. LOL

BTW - My whole system is for sale (in pieces) in the for sale thread right now, available CHEAP!
