Hi,
I have just finished installing OME fog lights to my KJ Sport 2003. The lights work, I followed all the instructions in the box to the letter (I think/hope). Now when I turn the lights on, on the bash board the light for the fog light come on even if I haven't turn the fog light on!! This happens when I turn the position lights on. I guess the light should only come on when you actually turn the fog light on? Any ideas where I have gone wrong? And how I can fix it.
Thank you,
Fil

Just to be clear:

You can also see that the switch is on the position only setting.

Any help please?

Fil.

No they are not, if i put on full beam the light goes off. If i put fog lights on with full bean on the light comes on as it should. It's only on half beam and if i pull the switch on to fog light the lights don't come on.
Any idea what the problem is?

Yeah you got some funky wiring issues. The OEM foglights should only turn on with the park lights or low beams, they must turn off when you click the high beams on.

You tapped into the wrong "positive" line on the switch.
There is a "hot" wire for the dash light, and another for the switch / fuse block.
Generally colors can be red / black or red / orange, and possibly orange / red.

Don't have the wiring specs in front of me, but you want to make sure you've used
the wire for the fuse block. Any of the others will give you the errors you are experiencing.
