I am installing the Jeep 6 CD Changer in the cargo area of my CRD in the same place as it would be from the factory (right hand side panel below the window). Anyone know how do I go about removing the panel from the Jeep in order to cut the opening for the changer? Are there instructions anyplace on this site or the internet? Links anyone? :D

Do you have the in dash GPS? If not, the radio may not support the remote changer. The changer comes with the GPS system.

Yes I am going to have GPS, but am adding it myself. The changer comes with the in-dash GPS only if you order it like that from the factory - it is then part of the option package. I am replacing my in-dash 6 CD Changer with the RB4 Chrysler GPS (I know, I know RB1 is better, but it doesnt fully integrate with factory installed U-connect, which I have). Therefore, the CD-Changer is a separate order part.

I'm pretty sure that the CD changer will work on any radio that Sirius works on; the Sirius receiver connects via the radio's CD changer port in all Jeep Libertys. Although, it is possible that the software in some radios (such as the in-dash 6 disc) may not support it. Because the radios only have one CD changer port you can't have both the CD changer and Sirius. If you have the RB4 you can have the CD changer or Sirius and U-Connect if you buy Chrysler's multiplex splitter. I'm pretty sure U-Connect only integrates with the RB4, otherwise you need the independant U-Connect.
