| Post subject: | Mopar Subwoofer - where did you run the wire? |
My wife got a Mopar Subwoofer for her birthday - lucky girl. Anyway, I installed it and all went smooth except where to run the big bundle of wires to the unit. I ran them down the console and tried to run them under the seat, but the power track kept picking them up. It didn't look like I had enough wire to run them out the back of the console and up under the seat. Right now they come out from the console in front of the seat and it doesn't look good at all. Anyone solve this problem? |

I ran the wire down the left side of the center console then under the carpet to a small hole the seat wires use. I don't think i can take a picture because the sub itself is in the way. But you can kind of see it what i'm talking about in a picture from this how to thread for power seat installation over at JeepKJ: http://www.jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic. ... 57&start=0 Fourth picture down, the one with the front seats removed. You can see where the seat wires come out of the floor. You may have to loosen the bolts again on the seat tracks to work the harness under. In my case the harness was just long enough to reach. |
