My Brother totaled his F-250 last year and bought a used replacement from a consturction companys owner. never seen any heavy use but a real crappy radio so he went to I think Circut City and the installed it for him he was more interested in the satalite radio capability. He seems happy with it.

The plastic that goes to cover the open space around where the radio fits may just not cover all the gaps. On my brothers F-250 it should have had a better face plate because the one he used still showed gaps which looked sort of sloppy. Just what I remember I don't have much to do with my brother anymore.

That looks good, I am sure you will love it. There is no such a thing as "won't fit" with crutchfield, they will send you everything that will make you fit just perfect (as long as it says "Will Fit" under the product).

You'll need the install kit bfor it.The install kit will come with the face plate for it(to cover any gaps) and the wiring harness to plug in between the head unit and the OEM plug, they ussually only cost about $15-$30 for most apps, can get at a circut city or best buy.

NOOOOOO!!! Your CD player will come with a harness, but DO NOT CUT your stock harness, it makes it tough to put your car back to stock should you want to sell it.

Go to best buy and ask for a harness for a jeep liberty and hook it into the radio and you will be able to plug it right into the factory CD player harness.

Hope that this doesn't sound like a flame, but it will make the next owner of your vehicle curse you if you cut the factory harness.

and is this the kit to make the aftermarket stereo work?
Stereo Install Dash Kit Jeep Liberty 02 03 04 05 (car radio wiring installation parts)

because if both pieces are correct, i do not want to pay the 19.99 from best buy for both and then 50 for installation!!

okay that helps,
1. unplug and remove the stock stereo
2. then take you walmart wiring harness and it plugs into the wires in the dash
3. then plug in the wires that came with the stereo into the stereo
4. take those wires coming off of the walmart harness and the wires from the stereo and connect them, they are color coded but make sure but reading b.c if you make one mistake like 1 positive + to 1 negitave - it will not all work properly and then you have to go back through and check everything
5. connect the antenna adapter
6. make sure everything is working correct then, put into dash and install trim

good luck!
