Does any one have a pic of their dash with a single din deck and adapter in it? Just wondering what they look like. Thanks |

Thanks Sorry no pic here, but they look pretty good. Metra makes a decent dash kit that makes it look good while at the same time holding the head unit secure. |

I was also going through cardomain checking these units, since I am considering replacing RBQ. Anyone else want to post theirs? |

mlr, I am also considering a kenwood HU, this one: KDC-X590 is your X689 or 890? I cannot read on the face (can see your hand, though). Comparison what do you think of it so far? I was thinking of hooking up large USB drive to it. psinsyd, you are lucky, I was considering that at first, that unit looks great.. (bit pricey) Check this topic: http://www.jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4740 |

The space under the HU holds a cd case perfectly. I guess it's the "what's playing" now display |

I basically use my ipod for all my music but a USB hard drive would work just as well (maybe better and also cheaper). Let us know what you end up going with! |

Only for like a day did I run the new HU with OEM speakers. I know once I put in the new speakers it sounded really good. Can't really remember how the OEMs sounded with it sorry. Thanks for the comments too. Oh and I also got rid of the Tweeters altogether (I think they were shot cause they made horrible cracking noises) |

Looks good! The cabling to the glovebox is the same route I took with the iPod adapter cable. I'll work on pics, hopefully tomorrow! |
