Does anyone have these lights? Are they better for driving lights or fog lights? Thanks!

I have them on my roof. There are actualy two versions, a driving and afog I believe. The driving ones are darn bright and would blind the heck out of the person in front of you if not aimed down.

I ahve used mine on the highway to blind a person that has cut me off a couple times now on the way to go 'wheelin. Can't do it otherwise becuase the rack is off when i'm not heading to the trail.

I have both types on my rack...

http://jeep.allgris.com/lights/

They are 2 different models that have different part numbers. Technically, the only thing different is the reflector inside the light. Driving and fog are both the exact same size, shape, appearence.

Driving version gives you a longer narrower beam. Fogs give a wider beam. Both are bright as hell (as you can see from my pics).

My 6 ff75s consist of 4 driving (outside and center pairs) and 2 fogs. It's ungodly bright.

Model #s are as follows

74322 FF75 Driving Kit
74323 FF75 Fog Kit

I have a set and I'm looking for more. I'm going to do what Gris did. You can currently find them on ebay pretty darn cheap (under $35.00 +S/H).

THis went pretty cheap.

Love this set up.

Thanks for the compliments carnage!

just FYI though, The lights in that ebay link are 50s, not 75s.

They're the same brightness more or less, but taller and narrower

ok i have had my hella ff75's on for sometime now and am getting ready to add my now received 500's, but i have a couple of questions...
1) will installing a relay for each set, not make the switch hot?
2) if i do install the relay, the one provided has 4 pins, but i only want to use 3 b/c i do not want to hook up the lights to the high beams, so how do i install the provided relay and not use all the pins?
Thanks for the help!!!

1) Not at all. I have 3 sets of them running off 1 switch. The trigger for the relay draws such a low amount of current that you'd need a lot of them to kill the switch.

2) you still need all 4 pins. Wire it exactly as they tell you, except intead of running the wire to the headlight high beams, run that wire to the switch you are using to control them. 1 pin to battery power, 1 pin to ground, 1 pin to the switch, 1 pin to the lights.

This info prevented me from accidentally ordering the fog lamp version when what I actually needed was the driving lights. I'm mounting two of them on my roof basket and want the long/narrow beam. Thanks Gris!
