Hi everyone. I have a 2002 KJ Sport with no OTIS/EVIC console. I wanna install it and I had read a lot about what I need, the best source http://alucinari.net/jeep/kj/evic_install/. Everything seems to be clear for me except where to connect the BCM side of the harness , if fact this link above affirms that "There are many places in your KJ where you can splice these wires into" but The only clear solution I see is to use the Data Link Connector. I want to now in what other locations can I plug the wires and what kind of connector I would need. I took a look to the Fuse Panel but I didn't see any connection apart for those for the fuses.
Thanks.

There's probably somewhere else you can splice into, but the DLC has to be the easiest. My wires are soldered in the DLC...but that's only because i found this after i installed my evic:

http://www.carplugs.com/products.html

I haven't actually bought anything from there so i can't anything about their service.

Thanks to both. I have the male ODB2 connector but I would like to know where the EVIC/OTIS is connected when is factory installed, or what other options to acces the PCI bus we have.
Great forum !!! (for a great car, of course  )
