Great thats a start! By chance do you know which connector on the BCM is where all those wires are located? How can I identify it? Where do the pins start? Top? Bottom? So I know where to count and see where Pin 19 is? Thanks so much! |

Great thanks for the info! 1 last question... Where is PIN # 8 on the Lightbar Switch itself? I only count 7 metal prongs on mine and I want to know which one could possibly be PIN # 8? Im in the garage now trying to get this to work so any quick responses would be much much appreciated!!! |

billforde, what year is that pinout? You can see pin 8 in the lower right hand corner but for some reason they don't include a decription in the table. Pin 8 is in the table in my 05 manual as WT/LG. |

I thought so... I could be wrong. While I'm here, and you guys are digging around in the dashboard... is it possible to make the stock light bar switch and wiring work a pair of aux. lights? I've got the stock light bar and want to get rid of it and use the switch in the dash to work some lights on my bull bar when I put it on. Thanks! |

Yes, 04's do have the lightbar light on the dash... If you wanted to add a pair of aux lights and use the dash indicator, it is very easy to do... I love having the light come on now when I turn my lightbar on. If you guys want to know exactly how to make the light on the dash illuminate, please let me know and I will do a little write up for you. Thanks to everyone who provided answers to my questions and informed me where to start. My local Jeep dealer was so cooperative they gave me BCM/Pinout diagrams right from their service manuals on the spot! Anyone who has a lightbar and the light doesnt illuminate on the dash, let me know!!! Well get it working!! |

Yes! I would love to know.. What kind of switches do you all use for your lights? If I drill a hole in my dash. I want it to look nice and get a good looking switch. Right now Im just using the switch that came with the hellas.. Its a green rocker switch that lights up.. |

I'd like to know as well, have a friend who's getting a light bar and I'm going to help him with the install. |

While you're at it, can you tell me how to get the little European reverse light indicator to work? There is an unused on (on the US spec models) that they use in the Euro models which light when the back up lights are turned on (not the normal reverse lights like we have). ² Rear Fog Lamp Indicator (with Rear Fog Lamps only) I'd like to wire it to my aux reverse lights as sometimes I leave them on and blind people behind me. |

I know I am resurrecting this from the dead, dead, dead. But here is a link on JeepKJcountry on how to turn on the overhead light dashlight.. And if anyone still reads this, I would like to know about the 'fogs' and 'rear fogs' that were previously mentioned.. Also I have a 2007, so it is probably different than the 2004 that was posted above. Also where are those descriptions from "from figure 3" .. from the BCM? Probably not because there are a couple extra notations. Thanks. |
