I just installed an Alpine PXA-H701 Multichannel audio processor and Alpine Controler. Makes Sirius sounds alot better using its MX mode. Still have a bit of cleanup left to do.

Looks.. good..

Did you just cut a hole in the roof and stick that thing there? The edges look alittle rough..

What is it anyway? Ive never seen a head unit stuck to the roof of a jeep? Whats the thing under the seat do?

I only cut a hole in the head liner. I do plan to clean up the edges. Its not a HU, its the controller for the unit under the seat. Its only about an inch thick.

If you check out the link, the unit is a 5.1 sound processor that has three analog inputs and 3 digital inputs. It outputs 8 channels to my amps. 4 for front speakers, 2 for rear, one center and one sub output.

It also has of lots of features for adjusting the sound. 31 ban equalizer for each channel, except sub, which is 10 channels. It also has a feature that trys to restore full dynamic range to mp3 base signals.

I have my DVD player, Sirius, PC, and portable mp3 player plugged directly into it. I dont have a HU anymore.

It doesn't look centered...

Maybe my eyes need checking.

Cool, you gotta let me in on anything you find out about configuring it. I don't even know how to use half of the features on mine.
