Just replaced the stock rear speakers. I decided to install it on the door panel itself.

almost most of that wiring has been ripped out, or redone. Decided to completely redo my carpc project since it never worked the way i wanted.

Nice speakers, but when mounting it on the door panel you will probably get excess vibration. I had Kappas a while back in my Golf and loved them. They were virtually impossible to blow. They do require more juice to drive as they are somewhat inefficient. However, what they loose in inefficiency, they make up in robustness. Clarity and presence wasn't too bad either.

So far, vibration hasnt been an issue. They are being driven by a JL E6450 6 Channel Amplifier.

How well does vinyl hold up to being painted? Don't forget to fix your door handles. They look worn.
