Post subject:  A little help, and HOW TO?!?!

I had someone install an aftermarket head unit, and an amp and sub in the rear. How do I replace the stock head unit back into my jeep and remove my subwoofer etc?? I am supposed to pick up my new Libby soon and I NEED to get these items out, without paying the nearest shop to do it again.

PLEASE HELP!!

Hopefully they used a factory jack adapter. If so you can just unplug it and plug the old one back in

SUBS CAN JUST BE UNHOOKED AND YOU CAN LEAVE THE REST OF THE WIRING IN THE CAR. UNHOOK ALL THE WIRES THAT LEAD FROM THE BACK OF THE DECK TO THE AMP AND THE WIRES ON THE AMP. YOU CAN ITHER TAKE THE TIME TO PULL ALL THE WIRES OUT OR JUST LEAVE THEM IN AND GET NEW ONES. ITS UP TO YOU AND HOW MUCH TIME YOU GOT.

block wheels and apply parking brake
put tranny in low (first gear)
Remove one screw in cubby by outlet
gently and carefully pull back bezel from top tipping down
this should give you enough room to remove the four screws holding the radio in place, otherwise disconnect the vent and A/C vacuum lines and wires to completely remove the bezel.
Hopefully they used an adapter for the radio and antenna and you can remove them to replace the factory head.

Good luck!
