Post subject:  Police Cruiser Spot Lights

Well after seeing a Renegade with driving lights on the cowel like a police cruisers I thought they would be cool on my Liberty Sport well after talking to my car mechanic LAKEWOOD 5 STAR he informed me that I would get ticketed for obstruction of my vision if I cowel mounted my driving lights ao I decided why not go with the real Police Spot Lights so with Google and some searching I found this.

tee hee, i hope it was mine with the cowl lights! not sure where you are from but i doubt you would get tix if you arent driving around with them on all the time, anything in most state above your headlights are considered offroad use only. i think there is one other libby one with them higher up on the windshield/apillar/frame I thought about police cruister ones with the controls on the inside but they were pricey and the idea of drilling into my apillars didnt go too smooth with the old lady. if you have the money they have remote control spot lights that mount to whereever. that's be nice

Yes your lights were the lights that inspired me, but if you click on the links I posted they are not anymore expensive then KC's . After hearing about the tickets. I reconsidered since I have the type of luck that with in 2 blocks would get pulled over by City PD, County Sheriff and then Colorado State Troopers. If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any at all.   I still may take your advise I really like the look of the cowel mounted lights. I already have PIAA's head light bulbs, I'm looking into some brighter bulbs to install in the factory fog lamps and complete my lighting with Cowel or Police spots.
