Does anybody run a radar detector, and if so, what do you consider as the best one to buy.thanks Chris

I've been running the Passport 8500 for the last 2 years. Probably the single most important investment I've ever made! I don't speed all the time, but this is a nice reminder when I do creep over the limit.
When I was shopping, it was between this and the Valentine One. I went w/ this because it was easily inchangeable between vehicles, but if I had went w/ the V1 it would have been a perm. stealth install. Both are fantastic devices, but they are a little bit spendy.

My ex used a Passport in her truck. It's saved her a many times. As for me... I just have my "get outta jail free card". :twisted:

No really... I carry a "get out of jail free card" from my Monopoly set! Gets 'em every time. :lol:

Yes, but does that actually work when you hand that to an officier...i would think it would just pi$$ him off more.
