I have no idea about the car audio and how things really work and what goes to what but my question is, could I hook up the MTX 12" sub and MTX amp to the stock radio? Do I need to get a new radio? I also have Sirius right now and was wondering if sirius enabled radio will work with all the connections in the KJ?

You don't need a new head unit but if you dont know how to wire everything up you should probably take it to someone who does. You'll need to splice into the speaker wires to get your signal back to your amp. If you do want to dive into it yourself I'd suggest getting a Convertor It's is a rather easy task when you know what your getting into but at the same time it doesn't take much to blow an amp or speaker with one wrong connection.

Thanks! I wired one up long time ago so I don't really remember how everything goes. If I get that convertor do I just splice wires to the head unit and plug in the amp in the other end?

that would probably be the best and cleanest place to do it but it can be done anywhere that the wires run. Just remember the farther you get from the unit the lower the sound quality will be. Once it's spliced in all you have to do is run RCA cables and a power source to your amp. I like to run my remote wire from the amp to the radio so it comes on and off with the radio itself.
