| Post subject: | Alarm Adjust - HELP |
Hi All My alarm ('06 CRD Limited) goes off a lot, especially if something like a motorbike rides past. A real hassle if parked in a city street as the alarm is always going off . Can this be adjusted to be less sensitive? Do you know? Does anyone else have this problem? Cheers and thanks Rob |

I didnt know the system in the liberty was able to do that. I know my 04 does not go off if you hit the Jeep. Maybe this was something they added in 06? Or did you add something? |

If this is the factory alarm, EVS-I, then this document should help. http://site.justforjeeps.com/guide/82209700.pdf The instructions are on page 9, but read through page 8 and page 10 first. From Tech Articles section http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=10813 "Liberty Security System" |

Thanks Mate, I appreciate your information Unfortunately the PDF not the one. The one I have is the Limited edition security system that has the roof mounted ultrasonic (I assume) sensor. Anything with a deep sound to it sets the alarm going. Do you know of a PDF link that covers this systeM? I'm really tired of it. Kind regards Rob |
