 Post subject: speaker install question

going to replace my speakers i have some pioneer 3 ways 6 1/2 i take off my driver door and there is some thing attached to my speaker.. my question is do i need this.. cuz there looks like no way to mount this to my new speakers.. if i don't need it.. what wires do i use from it cuz there is a cluster of them? any help

thats the amp for the rear speakers and tweeters.

ok so i do need it.. then my question is do i have to buy some kind of mounting plate to mount the amp to the new speakers.. cuz it looks like it mounts to the middle of my factory speaker. and doesn't look like i can do the same thing with my new speaker

If you are using an aftermarked Head Unit, you do not need them.

alright. i do have aftermarket head unit.. then once again the question is what wires do i use from the bundle..that goes to the amp..thanks for all your help guys


to add to that is there an easy way to take of the connector to the door handle.. i just don't want to break it

Are the wires just the red and black ones? and still need help with the connector rod
