Anyone have an amp installed under the rear seat, driver's side? Where did you ground your amp (if you didn't drill a hole)?

When I installed my first amp under the driver seat, there was an existing 'grounding point' over toward the front, left corner 'leg' of the seat; under the carpet a couple inches to the right of where the seat bolt mounts.

I had hopes there may have been something similar in the rear, but I couldn't find one...so I just mounted it with the 'leg' of the rear seat where it gets bolted down. It's probably not a good idea, which is why I'm asking for ideas.

Thanks!

I used one of the back seat mounting studs to ground mine.

Hey, Bonehead. I think we spoke on a different forum before. How's it going?

Well, then I guess I'm okay since we grounded our amps in a similar way. Did you sand off all the paint around the mounting studs? (I didn't  )

If you like to run wire you can mount yours where I mounted mine. I took up the plastic guard on the floor where the gate opens and mounted it to the metal there. I have never had problems with it and it gets the wire out of the way.
