So, I have never had a CB radio before. What would I be looking for when i go to buy a decent CB radio? Also, we were out wheelin and one of the guys had a PA system on his jeep. I wasnt expecting that!! I want one of them too. What do I need to know about those? I needed one today when the lady in front of me kept drifting in and out of my lane :x . I cant stand when ppl take their half out of the middle!

I dig the all-in-one Cobra I have since there's really no attractive way to get a decent CB installed. Most guys go "cop style" but that's not for me. My Cobra doesn't have PA which you don't need if everyone would get a decent CB in their rigs.

I own another CB (I think its a Cobra) bought it and never installed it since I didn't want to go cop style. It does have a PA and a built-in SWR meter..... by the way, whatever you do, properly tune your antenna with an SWR meter so the rest of us can hear you and you don't burn it up.

I was going to drop the head liner strip it and build a housing for my other CB and then recover it all so it looks sexy but I would have to delete the map light and review mirror and I just didn't want to deal.

Do whatever the boss lets you do, just do it right. Do they sell CB's at Walmart? Whatever they might have, I'm sure is fine. Also, my CB (75X?) can be found brand new all over ebay.

The PA is neat, ThunderbirdJunkie will get around to doing that eventually.

Mostly for yelling at slow idiots!
