So I have a blown stock front speaker. Can I just replace the two fronts with aftermarkets? Is there a speaker that I can just plug or a harness? I was told because of the amp they are 2ohm and aftermarkets wont work. Also is there any cutting to make a 7" fit? Thanks for the help.

I know that the amp is only there if you have the infinity speaker package. If you just have the regular stock speakers, I would assume that they are 4Ohm. Actually, I'd be surprised to hear of any 2ohm speakers that aren't subs, that seems really strange.

The part I am not sure about is the crossover for the front 6.5" and the tweeters. I assume the crossover is somewhere in the door or dash and makes the pair of speakers look like a normal 4Ohm speaker to the wire in the radio harness.

According to crutchfield, there is no wiring harness available, but you should have no problems cutting off the factory connector and crimping/soldering a new connector on.

Crutchfield throws this bracket in the order if you pick out a pair of 6.5" speakers and tell them they are going in the front of a liberty. Not sure if it's needed, but maybe:

Also, I don't know that they make 7" speakers. They seem to only have 6.5 and 6.75 (and for the most part, it looks like they are a single speaker that says "fits 6.5 and 6.75")
