Post subject:  Problem with IPod Integration
Hello all,
Last night my IPod integration kit came in the mail...so ofcourse I instantly ran out to the Jeep and threw it in. Its this one http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails ... egoryID=36 model ISCH72.
I was a little concerned because in there application chart for setting the jumpers on the pxdp the Liberty is not listed. I have an 06 so it doesnt fall into any of the model years they list. http://www.pac-audio.com/PacProductData ... 091208.pdf

So, after trail and error, the settings for All Models 2002-2005 worked out it seemed.

There is a little problem though. The track number on the Factory unit dont match...they kinda just do their own thing. Also, there is no way to go to next album from the Factory Unit controls. Is this normal..or should these things work correctly?

I had a similar issue with one from another vendor. They stated it would work with all functions. Some functions didn't but I had already installed it and it was useable for what I needed. I called them and complained (told them I wanted a refund - but nicely). They allowed me to keep the unit and credited my c/card for 25% of the price. So, if you can deal, call and ask for a partial credit. You may get something back. :wink:
