Post subject:  03 KJ Trailer Wiring....HELP!!!
Ok well i've ordered my hitch and im going tomorrow and getting my wiring kit but the kit only comes with the flat 4 pin. I hate flat 4 pin i've seen to many of them be pulled off...so i want to know what all will i have to do to make the flat 4 pin into a 7way? 7 way is just a flat four with some extra wires added. You just need to hook up the flat 4 to vehicle, then cut off the flat end, wire up properly to your 7 blade. When I do a hook up, I know cut the end off and wire both the flat4 and a 7RV so I can use my small trailers or my camper on any vehicle.

Just buy th eOEM one and be done with it, it comes as a 4 or a 7 pin. Hell in europe they come as a 7 or 13 pin!

does anyone have the part numbers for the 2 harnesses? i have an 07 and am looking to put them in, i also have the overhead info display with tpms etc
