| Post subject: | Rear Glass Latch |
My rear glass latch will only open with the key fob. I took my tailgate trim off to investigate, and can hear a "click" when the handle is pulled halfway. The click comes from the solenoid directly under the latch. I checked all of the electrical connections. Prior to this I figured that I would have to replace the handle, but hearing the solenoid click makes me think that the handle is fine. Not that this is extremely urgent, it's more annoying than anything else. I was hoping to find a loose connection inside the tailgate, but no such luck. Any suggestions? |

go to dealer and order part# CENAD160 this is the micro switch thats in the rear latch handle. the good news is its less than 10 bucks |

To access the switch, I just remove the handle? Thanks for the help. |

it acually was a recall for the earily kjs http://richard.fortin.free.fr/Jeepforfu ... letins.pdf i know this switch fits all of this body style. have installed it on 2006 and down kjs |
