My '05 came with 6-disc changer, amplified speakers, and steering wheel audio controls.

I'm currently looking for a single-disc OEM head unit to replace it with, but I want to be able to use the steering wheel controls again too. Which years of OEM head units will hook right up on my '05? Anything changed on the stereos over the years?

Is there anything wrong with your 6 disk? If not i'll trade ya my 05 regular CD. If there is something wrong with your 6 disk I'll be putting a new one in mine in the next week and will sell ya my CD

My 6-disc jammed. Took it apart to get my CDs back. It works, but I haven't tested the CD function yet. Currently I'm running an aftermarket setup....and looking to trade it straight up for a OEM unit. (In the classified section). However, I gotta' find out what's interchangeable with the factory 6-disc.

Any idea?

I think the factory cd is interchangeable
