Hey,

I got a powered sub I am trying to hook into the RB1/Infinity audio system. I also have the DVD of the service manual. I'm trying to figure out what wiring diagram in the manual applies?? The manual doesn't list the RB1...instead it talks about "Audio system LHD Premium," "Audio system midline/highline," and so forth.

For one thing, probably because I'm not matching up to the right diagram, I can't figure out what are the speaker wires +- for each of the speakers. Any idea which service manual diagram I'm supposed to use?

Also, some of the diagrams indicate that some audio systems have a remote amplifier for the speakers, rather than having the amplification in the head. Is that the case here? If so, I can't use the speaker ins on the subwoofer as easily.

I know sort of putting lipstick on a pig, but...

I have an 02 and the colors are as follows.
Left front:
(+)dark green
(-)brown/red
Right front:
(+)violet
(-)dark blue/red
Left rear:
(+)brown/yellow
(-)brown/light blue
Right rear:
(+)dark blue/white
(-)bark blue/orange

If you need to hook up a turn on wire for your set up use the orange/red wire. It is the power to your deck and switches on and off with the key.

Good luck

You will need to tap in to the wires at the back of the deck, the signal is not amplified until it gets to the front speakers(the amps are in the front doors on the back of the stock speakers)
