I have everything, the sub, the power source, the amp, all i need now is a way to get audio into the amp from my stock head unit how can i do this? from what i understand I need a high low rca adapter and 15 foot rca cables?? |

That's about right. Many people on this sight have done this. Your rca converter will tap into your speaker level outputs on the back of your deck. And then you just run the rca's,power and a remote turn on to the amp and your in buisness. When you hook up the rca converter you will need to use the front or rear wires. The color codes are as follows. Left front: (+)dark green (-)brown/red Right front: (+)violet (-)dark blue/red Left rear: (+)brown/yellow (-)brown/light blue Right rear: (+)dark blue/white (-)dark blue/orange On the back of the deck while hooking up the wires you can use the red/orange wire for your remote turn on wire. It is the power wire for the deck and turns on and off with the key which is what your amp should do. Good luck |
