Anyone mounted a license plate cam and had to route the cable through the jeep? just wonder where the easiest place to run them is especially through the hatch

Run your wiring where the factory trailer wiring harness goes. Through the floor at the right rear(there is a grommet there), under the trim along the right side and out the trim by the glove box.

I mean installing a backup camera on a car that doesn't already have one. I'm considering adding one to my car. There's an empty slot(well, not empty, covered..) like when you buy a car without all possible exterior options in the perfect place for one.

I got a lincense plate camera for Christmas and garmin 5000 for display! Howrver I haven't installed it yet. One dilema I have is on my RL bumper I have a generic light that mounts on the top two holes of the license plate... same place I would mount the camera.
